Today I stood in line for cat meds. It was a very long line. People mostly had dogs. There was a ... I lost my train of thought. LOL blame it on Brothers and sisters. Oh yeah somebody had a husky puppy. They wouldnt trade her with Kat. I was disappointed.

Then Barbara Bruce and I went to Macaroni Grill. I am not a huge fan. Then we went to see Avatar in 3-D. It was pretty good. I dont think I would pay to go see it again like Barbara and Bruce did. But it was good!

Friday night Dinner will be at Chili's tonight.

I got the wrong thing. Oh well live and learn.

SILLY ME

For the longest time I couldnt figure out how to get back to the dashboard except to create a new post and then click on Dashboard.

I was moving my mouse around the screen and the pointy arrow turned into the hand with the finger over the B.

I said to myself... could it be that simple????

Lucas in the hospital

Our Lucas had to have have an operation today. He had a cyst that the docs said it had to come out. Conner spent two nights at our house. He has every Mario PJ's out there and every Tshirt too.

I sent Valentines To Conner and Lucas.

I got my mum all decked out with a new used Camera and all the nifty things she will be needing.

I got three gift cards for i tunes. I downloaded a half cd by Michele Buble and I downloaded we are the world for Haiti and I downloaded Dirty Dancing and The breakfast club on my Netbook (still mad as a hornet about the porn and carlos)

I love the Breakfast club movie. One of my favorites. Odd thing about the breakfast club. I cant not recall actually watching the whole movie from start to finish in one sitting.

I have seen bits and pieces of it a thousand times. I got the movie on dvd and now a digital copy but I have not seen it all the way thru in one sitting.

Dirty dancing .. thats a different story. The digital copy came with two movies. Score me. Though i would of still bought it if it was just the original. But how sweet is two movies for the price of one!

I got my DSLR just in time!

DSLR CAMERA

I FINALLY got the DSLR Camera. It came today and I had a major headache. It was a funny story and I would of appreciated it more if my head did not hurt so much.
Thursday the SD card came in and I told the fed ex guy I would see him tomorrow because he has the camera.
So he comes in and says does Jeff Williams work here. He was hold a DSLR camera sized box. I said no. Then he asked if this was 1632 Bluff Road and I wanted to cry. He laughed and said just kidding. He had my camera. OOOOH that was mean. Funny but mean. If my head didnt ache so much!

OH POOH!

That mean Wachovia put a hold on my credit card when I bought the camera and its a day behind. I will get the Card on Thursday but the Camera will not come till Tuesday.

Best Buy messed up

I told the guy at Best buy I buy the camera right here and now if they deduct the amount that the tax would be. They wouldnt do it. So I will be ordering my camera from Ritz Camera.

This is too exciting as Conner use to say.

Did my taxes

I finished my taxes and I got the money spent already!

I paid Barbara back for the tires. Which really that was to pay me back to pay her back cause I got clothes with the original money I was suppose to give back to her.
Then I got bought my Camera I been wanting so badly! YES THE DSLR. I cant wait. I am going to buy every book imaginable to learn how to use it and scour the www for hints and tips.

Carlos a Car Jacker?

Somebody swore Carlos was the car jacker that shot at a family with a baby.

They added all the evidence up.

He is hispanic
wears a hoodie
Stutters
works in that area
looks like the sketch that was drawn
they guy said he needed a ride Carlos does not have a car
evidence was found that Carlos stalked a girl and was an ex convict.

So this person who swore Carlos was all this emailed the news dept and then they called Crime Stoppers to report him.

Turns out the guy did look at all like the sketch drawn.

So it obviously was not Carlos.

I wish I had the pictures to compare LOL let you make the decision.

Merry Christmas

I got a netbook for Christmas and some paint too.

Awesome Trip

I wanted to go somewhere Christmasy and I had heard on the news about a christmas town in Georgia. I never found it. I did find a Garden that had these spectacular light display. It was at Calloway Gardens.
Barbara mom and me went.
It was cold, expecially at night.
It was pretty cool though.
First we went thru the gardens. They had a bird of prey show that we all enjoyed. Then we went to the butterfly house. I love butterflys.
We then went over to the other area of the garden
Then it was getting time go check out the lights.
Well according to Barbara's Iphone it was time to go check out the lights.
There were two ways to view them, both cost the same.
First drive thru it in your own vehicle or drive around in their tram.
Another interesting point is you had to schedule your time to go thru because they display was so popular. We bought the tickets online so we were already prepaired. When we got there the only available tickets were 11PM. WOW!
We chose the tram.
It was a much better experience but instead of a white pick up pulling us, a horse by the name of snowflake was pulling us (which really really really looked like a white pick up truck)
Snowflake would start giddyupping a little faster and a guy hollars whoe snowflake. ha ha ha
the lights were fantastic. There was this one scene, the whole forest was white. Gorgious. And one scene it looked like a frog jumping into the pond and the water ripples.
I was so hungry waiting for out time i even ate a funnel cake. I do not like funnel cake. But it was goood!
After we froze our butts off ... actually it was our toes we went back to the motel and saw there was a steak house across the street. He voted to eat there. Thats when we realized Barbara's I phone time was off by an hour. It was a whole hour later. No wonder I was so hungry and thought a funnel cake tasted good!
The motel we stayed in had a IHOP ... how sweet is that! Thats what I had for breakfast.
We had plenty of time to get home so Barbara asked if we wanted to do anything.
I says isnt there outlet shops in Augusta. So she Iphoned it and mapped out the directions.
Yuck it would of been a tanger mall. I dislike that outlet .. you will not believe how much i dislike those outlet malls.
Anyway the reason i even mentioned it was so that mum could find a christmas present from Barbara. I was looking out for my mum. She is the same evil mum that will make me to go the docs in feb.
Anyway she picked out a nice black leather purse and wallet.
We ate at Five Guys.
Barbara ordered a veggie sandwich. She ordered it wrong. Instead of ordering what you want on it, she needed to order what she did not want on it. She got a sandwhich full of green peppers and mushrooms and thats about it.
She then fired up the iphone and tried to map out the directions back home.
Something was wrong.
We were not in Kansas anymore.
Um actually
We were not in Augusta.
ha ha ha hahahahah haaaaaaaaaa haaaaaaaaaaa ha hahahahahahaha
We were in commerce. Several hours out of the way!
Bruce got us going in the right direction.

Cozy-crazy couple makes tight all right in the city's tiniest studio

If they can make it there, they can make it anywhere.
Zaarath and Christopher Prokop -- and their two cats -- live in the smallest apartment in the city, a 175-square-foot "microstudio" in Morningside Heights the couple bought three months ago for $150,000.
At 14.9 feet long and 10 feet wide, it's about as narrow as a subway car and as claustrophobic as a jail cell. But to the Prokops, it's a castle.
"When you first see it, the first thing you say is, 'Holy crap, this place is small,' " said Zaarath, 37, an accountant for liquor company Remy Martin. "But when I saw it, all I could think of is, I can do something with this. This is perfect for us. We love it."
Zaarath and Christopher Prokop insist they're living the life in this micro studio, just 10 feet wide! The bathroom is even smaller, barely spanning three feet.
The co-op is on the 16th floor of a doorman building on 110th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue. But it's only accessible by a staircase on the 15th floor.
It has two small windows with views of upper Manhattan; hardwood floors; a tiny kitchen with a mini-fridge and hotplate; and a closet-sized bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.
"I'm amazed we can fit two people and two cats in there," Zaarath said. "But it's harmonious at this point. I have friends who say they could never live with their husbands in a place this small. It's a good thing we like each other enough to live there."
The couple wakes up every morning in their queen-size bed, which takes up one-third of the living space.
They then walk five feet toward the tiny kitchen, where they pull out their workout clothes, which are folded neatly in two cabinets above the sink. A third cabinet holds several containers of espresso for their only kitchen appliance, a cappuccino maker.
They turn off their hotplate, and use the space on the counter as a feeding area for their cats, Esmeralda and Beauregard.
"We don't cook," Zaarath said, adding that their fridge never has any food in it. "So when you don't cook, you don't need plates or pots or pans. So we use that space for our clothes."
Once in their running attire, the two change the cat litter box (stored under the sink) and start their small Rumba vacuum -- which operates automatically while they're out, picking up cat hair.
They then jog to their jobs in Midtown, picking up along the way their work clothes, which are "strategically stashed at various dry cleaners."
Just in case the cleaners are closed, both have emergency clothes at their offices.
"I have a closet at my office," Zaarath said. "You don't want to be standing outside a closed cleaners at 8:45 in your workout pants thinking, 'Greeeeeat' . . . It's a great strategy. You always have fresh things to wear."

Lights in Georgia

Mum and Barbara and me are going to Georgia on the 18th to Pineview Mtn. They have a garden there and lights display. I cant wait to go!

I have the same problem when I try to upload my christmas list to santa.

Dinner at Outback

We celebrated Moms and AB and Kims birthday at Outback today.

Conner and I made cards check them out in the paper blog.

Well the cake has all been eaten and it is time for the no chocolate till Christmas.

Well That might be tough because we got an office christmas party on the 11th!

Harry Potter Saturday

I watched three Harry Potter movies and knitted all Saturday long. It was quite fun!

Lexington + Monk

Lexington got a clean bill of Health. It is back to normal routine for the dogs. Problem is I dont think they want to go back to the old ways. They are liking the new ways to much. especially Desoto.

Well it was the series finally of Monk. I cried. Not because it was a sad ending. It was a very wonderful satisfactory ending. I cried because I do not think I will ever miss a television show more then I will miss Monk. I am so silly. I called my self idiot several times.


I had a lot of awe moments watching monk. One that stands out (a little background if your not familiar with the show) Monk has ocd. He is very self centered. Not in a bad way. He just has to have every thing the way he is use to. He fears germs and animals and nature and milk and heights and enclosed spaces and well the list goes on forever. For example he will not drink anything but a certain bottle of water. He went a whole weekend in mexico with out food and water because of his phobias.
I promised an awe moment...
Now remembering all I mentioned this was the first episode he met Natalie. Natalie hired Mr. Monk to figure out who was trying to kill her. They really werent trying to kill her. Her daughter Julie went to a museum and bought a fish aquarium kit. It had a priceless rock from another planet that the bad guys hid in the box hoping to sneak it out later. Before they did Julie bought it. Mr. Monk figures it out of course. The same fish is a common fish that Julie wanted to submit to a science fair that had lived way longer then the normal life expentancy of that fish. A few fish life times over actually. At first the science teacher said no impossible. The truth comes out when Natalie tells the teacher that was a pet Julies father gave to her before he went over seas. He was in the air force or marines or navy or army or something. When the fish dies Natalie replaces it before Julie finds out. The teacher feels sorry for Julie and understands how important it is to keep the secret and allows the fish to be entered in the science fair as long as she is not qualified for a prize.
Thats when the bad guy strikes again. He sneaks in and scoops up the rock with a fish net but also catches the fish. Mr. Monk chases after him. The guy falls, the fish flies in the air and lands on the ground along with the rock. Instead of getting the rock and foiling the bad guy. Mr. Monk picks up the fish (remember all his phobias) and runs thru the school to rescue the fish. He accidently puts the fish in a tank of pirranas, but then gets the fish out and puts the fish in a safer bowl. Think about all the wipes he had to use after that.
Thats when Natalie decides to quit her job as a bartender and work for the craziest cookiest detective in the world.
