Superman II the directors Cut

I watched Supman II the directors cut and it was so different from the movie. Instead of jumping into the river at Niagra Falls to prove clark kent was superman. She jumps out of the building at the daily planet. Clark Kent had to run with super spead to cushion her fall with tricks and then run back up. Then instead of tripping over the tigers head and falling into the fire pit Lois shoots Clark!!! Then clark aka superman says you know lois if I wasnt superman clark would be dead. Lois says blanks got yeah! ha ha.
It also explains how Clark was able to become superman again after he gave up his powers.
I expected a few extra scenes not scenes to be redone or even left out. Who knew?
